Ricky’s Brother’s Kush (RBK)—also known originally as the ’98 Kush or “SNUSH”—is an elite, indica-dominant OG Kush clone-only cut with a heavy lemon-OG and diesel terpene profile.
Origins and History
- The Name: The cut originated in Los Angeles in the early 2000s. When Adam Dunn asked where the stellar, unlabelled cut came from, the answer was simply “Ricky’s brother,” leading to the moniker.
- The Tour Connection: Ricky Palamino managed tour logistics for Snoop Dogg. To supply high-demand flower on the road without violating the original owner’s rule against commercializing or spreading the cut openly in LA, a decentralized nationwide network of trusted growers (including Adam Dunn and AJ Sour Diesel) was used.
- Survival: Paradoxically, while the distributed network kept the genetics alive across the country and in Europe, the original mother cut in Los Angeles eventually died out, making the road-preserved lineage the true survivor.
